The Future of NYC: I Have to Have Hope with Imam Musa Kabba

Church of the Heavenly Rest Season 3 Episode 3

Imam Musa Kabba recounts one of the most difficult crises of his ministry earlier this year, the devastating fire that took the lives of seventeen of his students–largely West African immigrants–at his Masjid in the Bronx. Listen to his powerful testimony of what happened that day, and how he sees the power of New York City and faith communities to overcome tragedy. A note about this episode: Imam Kabba shares powerful testimony about the fire that claimed the lives of his students; it’s painful. Please listen with care.
